Relieving Back Pain During Pregnancy?
July 29, 2008 11:49 pm Pregnancy Back Painajsnhikki asked:
I am absolutely hating the fact that I can’t “crack my back”. Even though I know it is bad in general. Anyone have any recommendations to relieve this irritating pain? It is driving me crazy that I can’t crack my back and anything else I do isn’t really working (i.e relaxing bath, stretching, laying down etc)

Try taking a hot shower or bath. Also try laying down. Don’t do too much.

Read how to repair old injuries Helium.com-health&fitness/exercise This may seem off topic but reading it could give you the information needed to solve your problem. there is not enough room here to explain it. good luck.

Go see a chiropractor! Chiropractic treatment from a caregiver who is used to treating PG women is FINE and is GOOD for you during pregnancy.
Also, consider seeing a massage therapist, especially one who does cranial sacral massage. This helped me SOooooo much during all three pregnancies.
And start doing pelvic rocking exercises.

I would have to say that sucks!!! However i would recomand that you contuie to take hot baths an not a lot of meds as to it might harm your unborn child! go to your drs. go get a referal an go to a chriopration at least thrugh the remainder of your pregnancy!!! THis also said don’t lift anything anymore then 5 to 10 lbs!!! i know this as to i’m going to clooage for nursing! an my mom is one as well!!!

I would highly suggest a pregnancy message. They are not that expensive and feel *wonderful*
Ask your OB for a referral to a chiropractic practice that works with pregnant women. They surely will have one or two they refer their OB patients to.
I HATE that feeling! I’m to the point I can’t pop mine either, even by twisting from side to side and it drives me bonkers. I’ve even tried putting a pillow on the gound, lying on it and having my husband apply pressure to my upper and lower back with no results. Annnnnoying! So I feel you!
