better go see a Dr., sounds like the infection may have spread to your kindeys, or stones (usually sharp & painful tho).

Sounds like it could be a kidney stone. See your doctor, of course.

Drink lots of water and cranberry juice, and go see a doctor as soon as you can.
I get these accompanied by a fever and have wound up dehydrated, which is very dangerous. It is better to go to a doctor and get an antibiotic. There are many different strains, and they will want to do a culture to find out which antibiotic will work best.

if you have a burning sensation while you pass urine, that means you have UTI. if the pain on your back is stinging, making the only comfortable position for you is to sit with your arms wrapped around your knees, then probably you have kidney stones.. but you better see your doctor for further confirmation..

Go see your doctor - especially if it’s been going on for a few days. I had a very painful bladder infection a few years ago that spread into my kidneys. My doctor gave me a course of strong antibiotics (Cipro) that got rid of it, but she said that ignoring such things can cause very serious problems.

See a doctor immediately. That’s the only way you can find out what is causing the infection. Cranberry juice or anything with a high acid content is good for helping cleanse the bladder. A warm hot water bottle on your back and midsection can help to ease the discomfort.
