Bloating, lower back pain, no urinary pain but “urge” to urinate?

I’m 19, scared, and confused.

5 weeks ago I had “honeymoon cystitis”, untreated for almost a week. I did not take antibiotics, just cranberry tablets. Ever since my period ended last week, I’ve had extreme abdominal bloating, lower back pain (extending to mid-back, and neck pain), severe ovarian pain, and as of the past few days - a “burning urge” to urinate right after I urinate, and when I’m lying in bed at night. But no pain whilst urinating.

I believe I am ovulating now too, as I’ve had the cervical mucus in the past few days. My periods are very irregular, with severe cramps when I have PMS, and I’ve experienced ovarian pain before. I usually bloat VERY easily, but I don’t recall having experienced as much pain or bloating as I do now.

I have also been under alot of stress lately, and I’ve had severe anxiety before.

I went to my doctor yesterday, the urinalysis was “normal”, but I’m going in for an ultrasound and 2 xrays of my back to be on the safe side.

What could be wrong?
I believe my doctor did a pelvic exam - he was prodding me around the area of my right ovary where I felt pain, and moving my leg to feel the pelvis or something?
I’m not too sure. But he said everything seemed okay, and he seemed to be most concerned about my back pain. By the way, the back pain started a few days after the abdominal pain and bloating.

I can’t diagnois you but i had the same pains when i was ovulating and then pms soi had the ultrasound and they found that i had fibroidic cysts in my utreus. I would see a obgyn this way they can do a pelvic exam and see what the problelm is.

Well you threw my initial theory of a UTI right out of the window honey since you don’t have a UTI I have no idea other than ovulation.

Your symptoms ARE worrying in reference to your back pain and lower back pain.
    BUT definatley NOT pregnant.
    You got your period.
& I know there are stories out there. But they constitue different situations.
haha I can’t really talk tho, I stressed after I had my period as well, just because this months hasen’t come.
Our brain is so powerful. Its ridiculous.

I guess if you have tender breasts and the increased need to urinate as well as pmsing will be derived from ovulating. Which is a good thing.

What are you testing for exactly?
But yeah good idea, get all that done. Not sure about an ultrasound though, so early. They don’t detect much. X rays would be wonderful.
However, you can detect also detect and monitor your stress levels through the blood as well.
    So yeah. =)
